Job Description – Stockyard In-Charge Position: Stockyard In-Charge Location: Local candidates preferred Industry: Steel Fabrication / Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Managing complete stockyard operations and ensuring proper storage of steel materials. Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials from suppliers. Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory reports. Issuing materials to production departments as per approved requisitions. Monitoring stock levels and reporting material shortages. Ensuring proper stacking, identification, and preservation of steel materials. Coordinating with factory departments for material movement and availability. Conducting periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation. Maintaining housekeeping, safety, and discipline within the stockyard. Supervising loading, unloading, and material handling activities. Requirements Experience in steel store, stockyard, or material management in a manufacturing/fabrication industry. Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures. Ability to maintain records and prepare stock reports. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/ERP preferred).
