About the role
As an Associate Solution Architect in Payments Technology at NatWest Digital X, you will play a crucial role in defining high-level technical architecture and design to deliver outstanding business outcomes aligned with our long-term strategy. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating across platform and domain teams to support solution delivery - Elaborating solutions and interfaces, validating technology assumptions, and evaluating implementation alternatives - Providing analysis of options and delivering end-to-end solution designs using relevant building blocks - Working closely with engineers and other architecture disciplines within payments to drive technical vision and collaboration - Analysing technical design issues and driving resolution through iterative technical solution design - Contributing to shaping requirements, validating designs, and delivering change aligned with the target architecture - Promoting adaptive design practices to drive collaboration of feature teams around a common technical vision - Analysing potential impacts of the latest technology and customer trends on existing and prospective customers Qualifications Required: - Good knowledge of application, business, data, or infrastructure architecture - Foundation level knowledge of industry architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate - Understanding of Agile and contemporary methodologies with experience in Agile teams - Experience in defining application architectures and roadmaps for complex solutions across technical architecture layers - Background in delivering solutions securely spanning complex infrastructure domains - Experience in designing and delivering Microservices-based architectures - Strong expertise in Kafka and event-driven system design - Knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to communicate complex technical concepts clearly - Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture patterns Join the digital revolution at NatWest Digital X and be a part of our innovative and collaborative team at our state-of-the-art Bangalore hub, located at Taurus 4, Bagmane Constellation Business Park.
