About the role
Role Overview: Join our digital revolution in NatWest Digital X by becoming a Software Engineer based in India. As a Software Engineer at NatWest, you will be responsible for designing, producing, testing, and implementing working software across the system's lifecycle. This role offers you the opportunity to hone your software engineering skills and advance your career at the vice president level. Key Responsibilities: - Develop knowledge of aspects of the associated platform across business, applications, data, and infrastructure - Apply Agile methods to software development on the backlog - Produce resilient and long-lived software, adapting flexibly to future needs - Deliver intentional architecture and formulate emergent design through innovative ideas, experimentation, and prototyping - Design and develop software with a focus on automating build, test, and deployment activities using executable patterns Qualifications Required: - Strong full stack experience with C#, WPF, and .NET Core - Deep understanding of Reactive Extensions, multi-threading, and concurrency using lock-free algorithms and techniques - Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL, GKE, React, HTML5, messaging systems, services, KDB, networking, and messaging protocols - Collaboration skills to work with business teams and produce pragmatic solutions - Experience in information security policies and practices within the financial sector - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to simplify complex technical concepts for effective communication Additional Company Details: Welcome to the Gurugram hub of NatWest, featuring two state-of-the-art towers at the Candor TechSpace in Sector 21.
