Youll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform. Youll also be: Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the businessCollaborating to optimise our software engineering capabilityWorking across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operationsDesigning reusable mainframe-centric plug-ins, modules, templates, and environment-ready components to support provisioning, automation, and cross-platform consistency across z/OS and distributed systems Engineering reusable environment patterns and supporting artefacts that integrate core mainframe technologies with distributed and cloud platforms Working within feature or domain teams to implement repeatable mainframe-driven patterns and tooling that improve environment stability, scalability, and developer experience The skills you'll need Youll need a background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.
