As a Software Engineer, Java, you will have the opportunity to take on an exciting new career challenge. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engineering and maintaining innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts, and tools - Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform - Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality - Work in permanent teams responsible for the full life cycle of software development - Collaborate to optimize software engineering capability - Design, produce, test, and implement working software solutions - Work across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and operations Qualifications Required: - Experience serving as a core contributor to highperforming engineering teams - Building enterprisegrade, scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and React - Minimum of five years of relevant handson work - Designing, developing, and maintaining secure, highperformance backend services, RESTful APIs, and eventdriven systems leveraging Kafka - Building responsive, modern user interfaces using React and Redux - Supporting and enhancing legacy applications built with Struts and JSP - Ensuring stability while driving gradual modernization - Enforcing best practices for code quality, performance, security, and maintainability - Collaborating with crossfunctional teams on architecture and technical decisions - Developing and deploying cloudnative solutions - Mentoring junior engineers to foster engineering excellence and continuous learning Additional Details: - Experience of working with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis - Experience in multiple programming languages or low code toolsets - Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets - Background in solving highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems - Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance As a Software Engineer, Java, you will have the opportunity to take on an exciting new career challenge.
