About the role
This position supports Credit Card Underwriting Decisioning Strategy team’s initiatives by partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project teams to deliver system enhancements and operational improvements. The role is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes and system impacts, coordinating testing and implementation activities, validating data and results, and supporting initiatives through production deployment and post-implementation monitoring. The ideal candidate has strong business and systems analysis skills, experience supporting complex technology implementations, proficiency in SQL and data validation, and the ability to independently manage multiple workstreams while effectively coordinating across business and technology teams.

5-7 years of experience in business and operational strategy, planning and analysis
Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and business solutions.
Advanced knowledge of data querying, data validation and business process analysis
Advanced problem resolution skills including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Advanced project management skill to lead projects and/or initiatives of medium to large scope to include working effectively with diverse internal and external contacts
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
Desired Qualifications
Experience with TSYS platforms and credit card processing systems preferred.
Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO), user stories, backlog management, and acceptance criteria

Evaluate business data and conduct analyses and reporting to identify challenges and opportunities; provide solutions to complex business problems using quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis
Partner across teams to develop advanced statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future business performance and inform strategic decision-making
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities
Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and business units and compatibility with organizational strategic goals
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
