Junior Software Developer C++

As a Junior Software Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to contribute to developing and maintaining CAD data processing and 3D geometry applications. You should have basic to intermediate experience in C++ and exposure to HOOPS Exchange and/or ACIS. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will play a key role in the following responsibilities: - Develop and maintain features using C++ - Assist in working with HOOPS Exchange SDK for CAD file import/export - Support 3D modeling and geometry tasks using ACIS kernel - Work on CAD file formats such as STEP, IGES, etc. - Debug and troubleshoot issues related to geometry processing - Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features - Write clean and maintainable code following guidelines - Participate in code reviews and testing activities Required qualifications for this role include: - Basic to good knowledge of C++ (C++11 or later) - Exposure to HOOPS Exchange (academic/project or skilled) - Familiarity with ACIS or any 3D modeling kernel - Understanding of 3D geometry concepts (B-Rep, surfaces, solids) - Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills - Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts Valuable skills that would be advantageous to have: - Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, NX) - Internship or project experience in CAD/3D domain - Exposure to OpenGL or any visualization tools - Familiarity with other CAD kernels (Open CASCADE, Parasolid) - Basic knowledge of debugging tools and version control (Git) Soft skills that are important for this role include: - Good communication skills - Willingness to learn and grow - Team player with proactive attitude and attention to detail The benefits of joining our team include: - Hands-on experience with CAD and 3D technologies - Mentorship from experienced engineers - Opportunity to work on real-world engineering applications - Career growth in a specialized CAD/C++ domain Please note that in addition to the above, the requirements also include strong experience in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go (Golang), API development, proficiency in Python with exposure to AI/ML or LLM tools (LangChain/OpenAI), experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), understanding of scalable and performant systems, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, Vector DBs, AI tools, or real-time systems.
