Software Engineer II

You will be working as a Software Engineer II at NCR Atleos, a global leader in expanding financial access. Role Overview: As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Java and the Spring Boot Framework, with a focus on Java 11 or higher. Your role will involve working on microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and API management platforms. You will also need experience in Azure Cloud, SQL & NoSQL databases, and designing high-volume web services using API protocols and data formats. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-volume web services using API protocols and data formats - Work on microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and API management platforms - Utilize Java and Spring Boot Framework, with a focus on Java 11 or higher - Experience with Azure Cloud, SQL & NoSQL databases - Understanding of data structures and algorithms for designing scalable solutions - Experience in optimizing Java applications for performance - Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions - Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and project managers - Exposure to AI-assisted software development and familiarity with engineering techniques Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Java and the Spring Boot Framework - Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and API management platforms - Proficiency in Azure Cloud, SQL & NoSQL databases - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment tools - Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, AzureDevOps/GitHub Actions - Ability to create and configure IAC pipelines - Knowledge of UI/UX frameworks such as Angular, Node, etc. As an equal-opportunity employer, NCR Atleos values diversity and inclusion.
