About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic engineers, with differing levels of experience in developing full-stack Enterprise Java applications, to add momentum to the creation of NCRs next generation of Channel Management products. The successful candidates must be able to contribute to the implementation of user stories across the technology stack. Responsibilities Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle Development and review of changes with a focus for design, efficiency, and quality Work as part of a team as well as working autonomously Prepare and produce releases of software components Contribute to improvements to the software development process Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for review Design, develop, and maintain the Business Intelligence suite, which is based on TIBCO Jaspersoft Reporting Server Customize TIBCO Jaspersoft Reporting Server code to meet specific business requirements Collaborate with product stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project goals Requirements BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Experience developing in an Agile environment, using current engineering best practices Experience using - CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript Experience with at least one MVC Framework - eg. Backbone.js, Ember.js, Angular.js Experience using Spring Framework Experience using a RDBMS and SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle) Experience in SCM technologies such as Git, SVN Proficiency in using Jaspersoft Studio for designing and developing complex reports Experience in data warehousing concepts Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Experience with cloud platforms like Azure Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for continuous integration and deployment Knowledge of other Business Intelligence tools is a plus (Databricks and Power BI) Other Skills of Benefit Test-driven development Software security Performance testing Domain knowledge of the Fintech and ATM industry is a plus
