Key Deliverables: Design and develop high-quality software, promoting re-use and ease of support Diagnose, isolate, and implement remedies for system failures due to software code errors Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices Conduct unit tests, track problems, and implement changes to meet functional/nonfunctional requirements Role Responsibilities: Analyze, design, and implement software mechanisms to improve stability, performance, and reusability Lead and participate in code review sessions Develop and improve test-driven development while producing software Create high-quality documentation (e.g., functional specifications, test plans, and integration test specs) Apply Agile principles and improve the tools used in development
