Role Description This is a full-time in office role for a Embeded Engineer / Senior Embedded System Engineer/ Tech Lead. The Embedded System Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining implementing Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Design and develop embedded hardware solutions for IoT devices, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping(Mandatory). - Select appropriate components and technologies based on project requirements, considering factors such as cost, power consumption, and form factor. - Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and firmware components. - Perform hardware testing and validation, including functional testing, signal integrity analysis, and compliance testing. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in embedded hardware design and IoT applications. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications. - Implement communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, and other IoT-specific protocols for device-to-device and device-to-cloud communication. Qualifications - Bachelors degree (BTECH) in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Communication, or related field. - Between 2 - 10 years of experience in embedded systems development. - Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad. - Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and system-on-chip (SoC) devices commonly used in embedded systems. - Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to hardware design, EMC/EMI, and safety compliance. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, and peripherals. - Strong knowledge in sensors, wireless devices, protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, RS485, RS232, RJ45), and communication modules like GSM/GPS, Bluetooth, ZigBee, LoRa. - Familiarity with 3D modelling software like fusion 360 and solid works .
