Supported by more than 1300 exceptionally talented manpower, we are a hub for offshore support and technology services. - Test Automation Designation - Senior Test Analyst (5-8 years) / Lead Test Analyst (9 - 12 years) Using a suite of modern tools, the Automation Tester will play a pivotal role in helping us to automate our move towards a truly continuous integration and continuous deployment environment. You will work with our product and development teams to ensure that we are constantly analyzing the automated tests that we design and execute for each of our products. You will report to the QA Manager, working alongside the Test Lead, product, and development teams to ensure a high standard of quality in our products. You will carry out automated functional testing on our products. You will have the chance to test modern products based on Microsoft .NET technology. You will design, maintain, and execute suites of automated tests using modern languages and tools such as C#, Visual Studio, Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Mocha, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure DevOps. You will be responsible for working through and developing our backlog to make constant improvements and additions to our existing automated tests. You will review and automate existing manual test cases. You will also be responsible for creating and reviewing defects, tracking their progress from their discovery through to their resolution, ensuring that they are adequately documented and tested. Over time, your role will grow and become more varied as you begin to test a larger variety of products across the NEC SWS. Key Responsibilities Drive the implementation of modern test automation frameworks and tools. Oversee test architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability of automation solutions. Promote shift-left testing practices and support developers in embedding quality. Implementation of automation frameworks for middleware and backend service-based applications in critical infrastructure design. Designing and executing automated tests on the latest revisions of the software. Participating in the development of our automated testing framework, assisting our move towards automated testing in a CI/CD environment. Interpreting requirements from existing manual test cases and specification documents. Liaising with Manual Testers and/or Business Analysts to understand the requirements. Liaising with the product and development teams to ensure that our backlog is up to date. Providing estimates regarding the test effort required to complete work. Raising bugs and liaising with the development team from discovery through to resolution. Setting up and configuring the testing environment and associated database(s). Preparing the test execution report and sharing it with stakeholders. Required Technical Skills and Experience Experience with C# / JavaScript / TypeScript. 6 to 10 years of experience in Test Automation using various tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Mocha, etc. Experience developing and executing automated test cases for User Interfaces. Knowledge of software development in a web and desktop environment. Required Soft Skills and Experience Clear and concise communicator. Able to prioritize between several tasks at any one time.
