Microsoft Azure Architect

As an experienced Microsoft Azure Architect, your role will involve designing, building, and configuring scalable cloud applications and infrastructure on the Azure platform. You will lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions and serve as the primary technical point of contact for cloud initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture & Solution Design: - Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure. - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications and cloud infrastructure solutions. - Define architecture standards and best practices aligned with enterprise cloud strategies. - Technical Leadership: - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Azure architecture. - Provide guidance to development and DevOps teams on implementing cloud-native solutions. - Participate in key architectural discussions and influence technical decision-making. - DevOps & Automation: - Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments using Azure DevOps. - Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using appropriate tools and frameworks. - Support application lifecycle management and deployment strategies. - Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: - Work with multiple teams including development, operations, and product teams to deliver cloud solutions. - Act as the primary point of contact for Azure architecture-related discussions. - Contribute to strategic decisions and ensure alignment with organizational goals. - Project Delivery & Governance: - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones. - Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions when necessary. - Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor team members to enhance capabilities. Qualification Required: - Required Skills: - Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Architecture. - Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and cloud infrastructure design. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation. - Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Azure environments. - Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices. - Knowledge of application lifecycle management and deployment strategies. - Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments. - Professional & Technical Competencies: - Minimum 12+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud architecture. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage technical discussions. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Preferred Skills: - Experience working with large-scale enterprise cloud environments. - Exposure to multi-cloud architectures or hybrid cloud implementations. - Knowledge of cloud governance and compliance frameworks.
