You are a skilled Hardware Design Engineer responsible for leading the design and development of Optical Network Terminal (ONT) hardware boards. Your expertise in board-level design, component selection, and integration of telecom hardware systems will ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design ONT hardware boards including schematics, PCB layout, and component selection. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications. - Integrate optical, digital, and analog components into board designs. - Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for board designs. - Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-test (DFT) compliance. - Perform hardware validation, debugging, and optimization. - Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and test procedures. - Ensure compliance with telecom standards and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Strong experience in hardware board design, schematics, and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics). - Knowledge of optical communication systems and ONT/OLT hardware architecture. - Experience with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, GPON, XGS-PON, PCIe, etc.). - Proficiency in signal integrity and power integrity analysis. - Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
