About the role
Job Description: Senior Network Delivery Engineer / ConsultantRole Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of enterprise network solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Cisco technologies, particularly Cisco SD-Access (SDA), ISE, and DNA Center/Catalyst Center, combined with strong project lifecycle management and customer-facing consulting skills. Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design Conduct comprehensive network assessments to understand client requirements. Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), including physical rack and cabling layouts. Create and maintain detailed MS Visio network diagrams and topology maps. Deployment & Delivery Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, building, testing, cutover, and operational handover. Provide subject matter expertise in Cisco SD-Access (SDA) solutions, including fabric design, policy configuration, and integrations. Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, WLAN, security, and SDA fabrics. Project & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with project managers to define scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements. Manage customer communication, align stakeholder expectations, and maintain strong client relationships. Identify project risks and dependencies, proactively providing mitigation plans. Support procurement and vendor coordination for hardware, licensing, and services. Skills & QualificationsTechnical Expertise Core Networking: Deep knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, and network security. Cisco Ecosystem: Advanced expertise in SD-Access (SDA), DNA Center / Catalyst Center, and Identity Services Engine (ISE). Documentation: High proficiency in MS Visio for architectural documentation. Experience & Competencies Proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale network transformation projects. Strong understanding of structured project lifecycle methodologies. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across multi-domain networks. Exceptional communication and customer engagement skills, with experience in consulting or professional services. Preferred Certifications CCNP (Enterprise / Security) or CCIE Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise SD-Access Implementation Interview Evaluation Criteria Candidates will be rigorously assessed across the following core areas: Technical Knowledge: Deep dive into Cisco SD-Access fabric, Wireless, and ISE. (Note: Deep theoretical knowledge will be tested if hands-on experience is limited). Project Experience: A thorough review of delivered technical projects, drilling down into core architectural and basic networking concepts. Communication Skills: Assessment of the candidate's ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Soft Skills: Evaluation of the candidate's overall attitude, problem-solving aptitude, and cultural fit.
