Junior DBA

Job Description You will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, security, production support, and DR management across CBS, LOS, LMS, and digital banking applications. Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain SQL Server - Database performance tuning and query optimization - Backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery management - Configure High Availability (HA) and Always-On environments - Monitor database health, security, and availability - Support production deployments and critical incidents - Ensure database security, encryption, and compliance Qualification Required - B.E./B.Tech/MCA with relevant DBA experience - 2 to 5 years of experience Additional Details You should have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and working knowledge of open-source relational databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL. Experience in query optimization, backup strategies, disaster recovery processes, HA/DR design and implementation, T-SQL, PowerShell/scripting, database security practices, access control, auditing mechanisms, and domain experience in Banking, Fintech, CBS, LOS, and LMS applications would be beneficial.
