About the internship: Key Responsibilities 1. Operate robotic systems during lab testing, demonstrations, and field deployments. 2. Set up robots, computers, cameras, sensors, networking equipment, and related hardware. 3. Launch and monitor robot applications using Linux and ROS. 4. Run Python scripts for robot operation, testing, data collection, and system monitoring. 5. Monitor ROS nodes, topics, services, logs, sensor data, and system health. 6. Identify and troubleshoot basic hardware, software, connectivity, and configuration issues. 7. Record operational data, test results, system errors, and deployment observations. 8. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols while working with robots. 9. Support engineers during robot integration, calibration, validation, and debugging. 10. Manage data transfer, file organisation, system backups, and daily operational reports. 11. Travel to factories or field locations for robot deployments and data-collection activities when required. 12. Coordinate with operators, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders at deployment sites. Working knowledge of Linux, including terminal commands, file systems, permissions, processes, networking, and package installation. Working knowledge of ROS or ROS 2. Proficiency in Python. Basic understanding of robotics concepts, sensors, actuators, cameras, and communication systems. Ability to read logs, diagnose errors, and systematically troubleshoot technical problems. Comfortable working with physical robotic systems in a laboratory or industrial environment. Willingness to travel and work at field locations when required. Willingness to work in Shifts. Willingness to work 6 days a week Only Computer Science and closely related graduates should apply.
