About the role
Are you passionate about applying data science to solve real-world agricultural challenges At Neoperk, we're transforming soil testing using NIR Spectroscopy and Machine Learning to build smarter, faster, and more sustainable agriculture solutions. We're looking for Research Interns who are currently pursuing or have completed their Bachelors in Data Science, Engineering, or related fields. About Us At Neoperk, our mission is to bridge gaps in agriculture through data-driven and tech-enabled solutions. We offer rapid, chemical-free soil testing & other required solutions, backed by an end-to-end platform delivering actionable insights to farmers and agribusinesses. What Youll Work On Analyze NIR spectral and chemical datasets Build algorithms, extract insights, and contribute to research papers Handle large datasets, implement data visualizations, and support model development Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting Collaborate with a dynamic startup team and contribute to real product impact Who We're Looking For Strong foundations in statistics, EDA, and data science fundamentals Experience working with structured/unstructured data Proficiency in Python, Git, Handling Jupyter Notebooks, and version control Great communication skills and a passion for solving real-world problems Location: Mumbai / Remote Apply by sending your resume + answers to 2 short questions to: obaid.sayed@neoperk.co Why does this sound like the JD you were waiting for Please share the links to any research papers / Data Science projects.
