Lead QA- Banking Domain(Automation, API, Performance, Security) Experience: 812+ Years Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Tester to lead quality engineering initiatives for enterprise banking and payment solutions. The role is responsible for defining QA strategy, driving AI-assisted test automation, API, performance, and security testing, while ensuring high-quality, reliable software delivery through collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring QA engineers. Key Responsibilities We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Tester with extensive experience in the banking domain preferably in Payments to join our team. The Lead Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing strategies. This role involves designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, conducting API testing, performance, security testing with AI assistance and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall quality assurance process across product engineering phases.The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in testing initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality banking applications. You will mentor junior testers, develop testing strategies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our software quality and compliance with industry standards.Define and enforce quality standards and best practices for automated testing, focusing on leveraging AI capabilities.Define and implement a QA strategy focused on reducing customer-reported bugs. Evaluate existing QA processes and propose improvements for immediate and long-term needs.Set a vision for integrating automation into the QA process. Preferred Skills : Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesKnowledge of payment systems, transaction processing, and risk managementAI Assisted Testing. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.Experience with automated testing tools is mandatory. AI assistance is preferred.Proficiency in API testing and experience with automated testing tools.Familiarity with SQL for database testingFamiliarity with Performance Testing tools (Jmeter etc)Familiarity with Security Testing tools Burp suite etc (Manual and Automated Pen Testing) Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.Strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and compliance standards.Proficiency in test management and bug-tracking tools (Azure Devops), risk managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
