Information Security Engineer

IT BISO Engineer | Information Security | Python | SQL | Automation | Vulnerability Management | Risk & Compliance About the Role The role focuses on implementing Information Security & Risk processes, driving security awareness, collaborating with Agile squads, automating controls, monitoring vulnerabilities, and strengthening the organization's security posture through governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for professionals with strong backgrounds in Information Security, Risk Management, Python, SQL, Automation, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, Security Controls, and Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of Information Security & Risk (IS&R) processes and standards. Drive and support Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance initiatives . Coordinate Security Awareness programs across IT teams. Partner with Agile squads to ensure adherence to Secure-by-Design principles . Monitor, control, and report logical access management activities. Maintain relationships with stakeholders and business units for security alignment. Identify, monitor, and mitigate information security risks across multiple squads. Maintain application and information asset inventories. Create and maintain security procedures, standards, and process documentation. Monitor and report on recurring security activities, including: Vulnerability Management Patch Management Dashboards Security Configuration Reviews Internal Quality Controls Exception Management and Logical Access Controls Control Plan Execution Mandatory Technical Skills Programming & Automation Python Pandas DataFrame Polars DataFrame SQL Automation & Scripting Continuous Improvement Initiatives Alternative Technology Stack Microsoft Power Apps Power Platform Workflow Automation Information Security & Risk Information Security Risk Management Security Governance Security Compliance Vulnerability Management Patch Management Access Management Security Controls Internal Quality Controls Security Awareness Programs Exception Management Infrastructure Knowledge Operating Systems (Windows/Linux) Networking Fundamentals Infrastructure & Hardware Concepts Security Configurations IT Processes and Procedures Methodologies Agile Scrum DevSecOps Continuous Improvement Process Optimization Experience Required 4+ years in Information Security, IT Risk, Governance, Security Operations, or a transversal IT role. 4+ years of hands-on experience in: Python Pandas or Polars SQL Automation initiatives OR 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform.
