About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for the technical aspects of implementing engineering designs into equipment specifications, coordinating with project engineers, designers, field installers, and suppliers. You will oversee the execution and control the technical sides of large-scale irrigation projects in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Key Responsibilities: - Implement engineering plans to create bills of quantities and pricing for quotations - Plan and execute detailed project execution - Manage projects technically from planning to commissioning stage - Review, control, and approve equipment from various global suppliers - Interface with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors - Design pumping, filtration, and control systems - Select hydraulic components and electro-mechanical equipment - Prepare technical specifications and plans - Support and supervise field execution - Solve technical problems during project execution - Support testing and commissioning activities Qualifications Required: - Engineer/ Practical Engineer degree in Agricultural, Civil, or Mechanical field is required - Experience in planning and implementing engineering designs for large-scale water systems - Experience in planning, executing, and installing irrigation systems is advantageous - Ability to read plans and write technical specifications - High proficiency in Excel - Familiarity with electro-mechanical equipment components - Knowledge of pump design and control systems is advantageous - Experience with SAP is advantageous - Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Inventor is advantageous (Note: Additional details about the company were not included in the provided job description) Role Overview: You will be responsible for the technical aspects of implementing engineering designs into equipment specifications, coordinating with project engineers, designers, field installers, and suppliers.
