Role Overview: As a Staff Business Intelligence Analyst at NetApp, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics, design scalable dashboards, and establish analytical foundations for making critical business decisions. You will play a strategic role in shaping the analytics strategy of the company and delivering impactful insights. Key Responsibilities: - Define key performance indicators (KPIs), metric frameworks, and analytical models to drive business and product decisions. - Utilize BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and ThoughtSpot to create comprehensive dashboards for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Work with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery to model layered datasets for analytics. - Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to source, transform, validate, and operationalize data. - Utilize SQL to write complex queries against large, structured, and semi-structured datasets. - Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to translate data into actionable strategies. - Ensure data integrity, governance, and analytical quality assurance are maintained throughout the analytics process. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Insights roles, with a track record of impact at an enterprise scale. - Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot) and experience building robust dashboards. - Experience working with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and modeling datasets for analytics. - Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with large datasets. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
