About the role
Job Responsibilities Involve in the complete development life cycle starting with research on various requirements, understand/define functional specs, convert them into strong signatures with high efficacy/quality, and measure the efficacy based on production data. Understand the use cases and workflows of various enterprise SaaS/IaaS services/solutions. Perform Deep Packet Analysis of the SaaS/IaaS/GenAI app traffic and develop App Signatures as per the specification of Netskope App Context Engine. E2E ownership for a set of SaaS/IaaS / GenAI apps from research, content development, testing, monitoring, and maintenance. Forward-Looking Research: Researchers will have the opportunity to develop leading-edge prototypes to solve emerging challenges in the cloud security space. Develop necessary tools, preferably in Python/Go, to assist with research, development, and maintenance of app connectors. Work closely with the technical support team to handle customer escalations. Analyze the product gaps that resulted in customer issues and improve signature resiliency and test strategy. Work closely with Product management, Testing team, and other stakeholders in various phases of signature development to ensure high-quality delivery as per requirements. Preferred Qualification B.E /B.Tech /M.Tech degree from a recognized and accredited university/college. 3-7 years of work experience. Preferred Technical Skills Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and web content is essential. Proficient in web data formats such as JSON, MIME, XML, and HTML. Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS protocols, and deep packet inspection. Must have hands-on experience with traffic analysis tools like Wireshark or Fiddler. Programming expertise in Python or Go is required; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus. Preferred familiarity with the core workflows and network traffic patterns of widely used GenAI applications and LLM models. Excellent analytical thinking, debugging abilities, and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills IPS/IDS signature development experience is highly valued. Understanding of security products like SWG, Web proxies, or cloud security solutions is a significant advantage. AWS, Azure, or GCP experience is beneficial. Exposure to big data analytics and machine learning is favorable. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
