Business Analytics & Intelligence (SQL, C++)-Mumbai

About The Role We are looking for a Business Analytics & Intelligence to work closely with every department, from sales and inventory to accounts and operations, and identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and automate day to day work. Most of our current processes run on Excel and a custom-built internal software system. We are not looking for a heavy duty programmer. We are looking for someone with strong analytical instincts, curiosity, and the creativity to spot where small changes in process or tooling can save real time and reduce manual effort across the business. This is a hands on, cross functional role. You will spend time embedded with different teams, understand how they actually work day to day, and translate that understanding into practical improvements, whether that is a better Excel model, a smarter report, a small automation, or a suggestion on how to use our existing custom software more effectively. Key Responsibilities Spend time with each department (sales, inventory, accounts, operations, etc) to understand current workflows, pain points, and manual effort Identify processes that can be simplified, standardized, or automated, even small wins add up Build and improve Excel-based trackers, dashboards, and reports that give management better visibility into the business Work with the existing custom-built software to identify gaps, underused features, or new use cases it could support Recommend practical, low-complexity solutions rather than over-engineered technical builds Design simple dashboards or reporting views to help leadership track performance without digging through raw data Document processes and improvements clearly so they can be adopted and maintained by non-technical staff Act as a bridge between departments, understanding requirements and translating them into workable solutions Continuously look for opportunities to reduce repetitive manual work across teams What We Are Looking For Must be based in Mumbai Familiarity with SQL and C++ Strong command over Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, data cleaning), used daily across the office Comfort working with structured data, organizing, interpreting, and presenting it in a way non-technical teams can use Basic understanding of databases, reporting tools, or automation concepts is a plus, but extensive programming ability is not required A creative, curious mindset, someone who naturally asks why is this done this way and thinks about smarter alternatives Good communication and interpersonal skills to work comfortably with different departments and non-technical stakeholders Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Prior experience in business intelligence, analytics, operations, or process improvement is helpful Self-driven and comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity, especially where processes are not yet documented Nice to Have Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, or similar reporting tools Experience working in a business where processes were transitioning from manual to automated systems Prior experience introducing or supporting adoption of a custom or internal software tool Skills: analytics,power bi,dashboards,software,excel,automation,data,generative ai,intelligence,advanced excel skills,c++,operations,sql .
