SDET / Test Automation Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a strong SDET / Test Automation Engineer with 35 years of experience who can build and scale automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and take end-to-end ownership of product quality. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability across complex AI and video-processing systems. This is not a manual QA role. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing Develop UI automation using Cypress (mandatory); Playwright or Selenium is a plus Build and maintain API automation Improve test stability, execution speed, and maintainability Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket) Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enable shift-left testing Participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis Mentor junior team members and drive testing best practices Required Skills & Experience 35 years of experience in test automation / SDET roles Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress Experience in API testing Solid understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices Experience with CI/CD pipelines Basic understanding of networking and distributed systems Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Good to Have Experience with Python Exposure to Playwright or Selenium Familiarity with AWS or Azure Experience testing media, video, or AI/ML-based systems Why NeuralGarage Work on cutting-edge AI and media technology Test systems that power AI-driven video and media processing pipelines High-ownership role with real engineering challenges Opportunity to influence product quality at scale Compensation: Up to 1,200,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Role Overview We are looking for a strong SDET / Test Automation Engineer with 35 years of experience who can build and scale automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and take end-to-end ownership of product quality.
