Job Title: QE Automation Engineer Experience: 4-10 Years Location: Chennai / Bangalore Job Summary We are seeking a skilled QE Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation for Banking and Financial Services applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and Maven, along with exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) and CI/CD practices. Experience in the Cards, Wallets, and Payments domain is essential. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts and frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD), and Maven. Execute automated test suites to ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of applications across multiple releases. Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks by implementing improvements and optimizing performance. Collaborate with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Participate in test planning, test design, and contribute to automation strategy and test coverage. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Prepare and maintain automation test documentation, reports, and execution metrics. Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation processes, framework efficiency, and testing quality. Required Skills 4-10 years of experience in Software Test Automation. Strong experience in the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) domain, specifically Cards, Wallets, and Payments. Hands-on expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD), and Maven. Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, build pipelines, and defect tracking. Strong understanding of automation framework design, development, and maintenance. Experience in test scripting, execution, reporting, and defect management. Good understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Good to Have Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured. Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines. Knowledge of SQL and database validation. Prior experience with banking or financial services applications will be an added advantage.
