About the role
Jr. Wintel Administrator Description: Contract to Hire Growing international company in Rochester is looking to hire a Window Administrator to the team. This is a contract to hire role, and the length of the contract is 6 months to 1 year. The ideal candidate will have the following: Pay rate: $25-30/hr. - Troubleshooting experience - Have hands-on experience working on HA environments, including DR experience - Hands-on experience in design, implementation and administration of IT systems. - Have experience working on IT projects - > 1y experience - Experience managing and supporting medium/big infrastructures, i.e., >500 users and >150 servers - Excellent organizational, communications, and time management skills - Strong customer service and team orientation - Proactive problem solving attitude - Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills - Strong motivation to stretch skills and tackle technical challenges - Ability to create comprehensive and accurate documentation Please note: Not all the items listed below are required for this role: - PowerShell - HyperV - Clusters and HA - Familiarity with: - Windows Server Operating Systems (2008-2016) - Active Directory - Group Policy - Hyper-V Virtualization - Failover Clustering - Powershell scripting - Experience with server hardware Unable to support C2C, OPT or H1.
