About the role
Role Overview: As the Energy Data Analyst at our company, your role will involve managing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of energy consumption data for the Americas/Asia Pacific Region. You will be responsible for identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and carbon footprint reductions. Your primary objective will be to provide accurate and complete data for these regions for regulatory reporting. Reporting to the Global GRFS Program Management (PMO) organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining dashboards, as well as reporting energy performance to plant management. Your collaborative efforts with local plant and distribution center managers, site Facilities, and the global Sustainability Organization will be essential in interpreting trends, anomalies, and supporting the implementation and tracking of energy efficiency projects. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the collection and validation of energy consumption data from regional facilities - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor regional energy performance and trends - Collaborate with facility managers, plant and distribution center managers, sustainability teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment providing justifications for energy trending - Support the implementation and tracking of energy efficiency projects in the Region - Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance - Stay current with energy market trends, technologies, and regulatory changes - Analyze, interpret, and present energy consumption data and trending effectively - Comprehend and analyze complex utilities consumption documents in various languages and multiple data sources - Manage complex data collection and interpretation, meeting deadlines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and tracking progress toward short- and long-term deliverables Qualifications Required: - Degree in Data Analytics, Accounting, Engineering, Environmental, or Sustainability - Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, sustainability, or facilities management - Familiarity with energy management systems (EMS), building automation systems (BAS), or utility data platforms - Experience building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such as utilities, regional power planning agencies, renewable project developers, project investors, and renewable OEMs Company Details: For over 70 years, Bio-Rad has been dedicated to advancing the discovery process and transforming the fields of science and healthcare.
