Senior Software Engineer (Generative AI)

As a Senior Software Engineer at Newtuple, you will be deeply involved in Generative AI and large language models (LLMs), contributing to the end-to-end engineering process of designing, building, and deploying AI-driven systems. You will collaborate closely with founders, clients, and cross-functional teams across various domains such as real-time voice agents, RAG systems, workflow automation, and enterprise AI applications. Your role will involve leveraging AI tools and technologies to accelerate development, from prototyping to production. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-based applications such as RAG systems, retrieval pipelines, LLM-powered workflows, evaluation tools, and production agents. - Quickly prototype AI applications and develop for production scale. - Architect and implement high-performance backend systems in Python, Node.js, or similar languages. - Build reliable microservices, APIs, and full pipelines supporting AI features end-to-end. - Implement CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, evaluation dashboards, and end-to-end model lifecycle workflows. - Stay updated with advancements in GenAI, multimodal models, vector databases, and agent frameworks. - Experiment with open-source models like LLaMA, Mistral, DeepSeek, and others. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of full-time software engineering experience, with 2 years involving LLMs or applied ML. - Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and LLM tooling (Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.). - Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines, using embeddings, and vector databases. - Proven experience deploying production-grade AI applications. - Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, system architecture, and API design. - Comfort using AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate development. - Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and convert rough requirements into working solutions.
