About the role
As a Senior Database Developer/Engineer at New Vision Softcom & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd in Pune, you will be responsible for migrating SQL Server to Oracle. You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in database development/engineering. Your key responsibilities include: - Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, dynamic SQL, SSIS, SSRS) and Oracle (PL/SQL, performance tuning) - Robust hands-on experience with Oracle RAC for multi-node operations, troubleshooting, and cluster services - Solid expertise in Oracle Exadata including Smart Scan, storage cells, compression, and day-to-day operations - Experience in cross-site data replication for resiliency and disaster recovery - Background in large-scale Oracle workload migrations - Strong skills in performance tuning, PL/SQL, and RMAN - Good communication skills to interact directly with client stakeholders Nice to have qualifications include experience in capital markets/post-trade domains and exposure to financial regulatory environments.
