CAD Engineer

Job Title: CAD Product Engineer Location: Bengaluru Experience : 6 Months - 2 years Role Responsible for product design and insuring designs meet customer requirements. Serve as a team member on multi-discipline Project Development Teams. Work is of a technical nature where decisions are made within the limits of general practices and procedures. Creativity and initiative is expected to make engineering decisions. The safety, quality, and performance of the product must be prioritized, with timely escalation of any risks. Primary Responsibilities Project customer requirements into BOM, drawings, specifications, DFMEA etc. Design and develop mechanical components for steering or driveline Design the steering column product keeping manufacturing and cost competitiveness balance. Develop and maintain DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) for all released products. Working knowledge of CAD and CAE tools is must. Ensure seamless communication and documentation between all stakeholders. Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Manage SOR / DV builds / Proto samples / Component and Product level testing requirements Knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Stack up & Fits calculations Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Mechanical)
