Joining Immediate or within 30 days preferred About the Role We are looking for a seasoned Okta SME to join our growing Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Okta Identity Cloud, including handson experience in architecture, implementation, integration, and support of Oktabased solutions in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Okta solutions across projects. Design, configure, and implement Okta Identity Cloud features including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API access management. Integrate Okta with various applications (cloud and onprem) using SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and other protocols. Work closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and security leads to define access control strategies and identity workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to authentication, authorization, and provisioning. Conduct health checks, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of Okta environments. Develop documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and runbooks. Stay current with industry trends and Okta product developments to continuously improve solutions. Requirements 6+ years of overall experience in IAM with at least 3+ years of handson experience with Okta Identity Cloud. Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and API security. Experience with Okta Workflows, custom scripting, and identity automation. Familiarity with integrating Okta with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, Office 365). Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, GDPR). Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Okta certifications (such as Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Consultant) are a strong advantage. Nice to Have Experience with adjacent IAM tools like SailPoint, Saviynt, or CyberArk. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloudnative IAM practices. .
