(NPST) Location: Mumbai, Noida, Bangalore Experience: 68 Years Work Mode- OnSite What will you do- We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with robust expertise in RDBMS platforms, specifically PostgreSQL and KeyDB, to manage and support mission-critical production databases. This role focuses on database availability, performance optimization, reliability, and operational excellence in a high transaction fintech workplace. Job Responsibilities: Install, configure, manage, and support PostgreSQL and KeyDB databases across production and non-production environments. Ensure high availability, replication, backup, and recovery of database systems. Monitor database performance, capacity, and health; proactively identify and resolve issues. Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning for RDBMS workloads. Handle production incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures. Plan and execute database upgrades, patching, and maintenance with minimal downtime. Implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies. Work closely with application, systems, and operations teams during releases and issue resolution. Maintain database documentation, standards, SOPs, and runbooks. Participate in 247 on-call rotations and support critical production issues. What are we looking for: Ability to design and improve database architecture. Ownership of database performance, reliability, and scalability improvements. Solid expertise in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning. Experience managing KeyDB in production environments. Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts: transactions, locking, indexing, replication, and concurrency. Experience supporting high-availability, production database environments. Knowledge of database monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools. Ability to work in 247 operational environments.
