Senior Backend Engineer Java Company: Crisp Analytics (LUMIQ) Location: Noida Work Mode: Onsite Experience: 57 Years Role Overview We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who can own backend systems end-to-enddesigning, building, scaling, and optimizing high-performance services. This role demands strong fundamentals in Java-based backend engineering, real-world microservices experience, and the maturity to make architectural trade-offs. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot - Build and manage microservices-based architectures with clean service boundaries - Develop and consume RESTful APIs with robust focus on performance, security, and reliability - Implement event-driven systems using Kafka for real-time data processing - Optimize database interactions using Hibernate/JPA and best practices - Collaborate closely with frontend, data, DevOps, and product teams - Ensure code quality through reviews, unit testing, and adherence to engineering standards - Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis Mandatory Technical Skills - Strong proficiency in Java (Core + Advanced concepts) - Hands-on experience with Spring Framework & Spring Boot - Solid understanding of Microservices architecture - Experience with Hibernate / JPA - Expertise in designing and integrating REST APIs - Practical experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, event streaming) Good to Have - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration - Understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems - Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases LUMIQ is a product-based SaaS company focused on building cloud-native analytics and decision intelligence platforms for global BFSI and insurance clients.
