Technical Business Analyst

As a Technical Business Analyst at Torq Commodities and its subsidiary, Mintelligence Technologies Ltd., you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within the Agri-Commodities sector. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that analytical platforms and technology solutions align with real business needs and market realities. Here is a breakdown of your role and responsibilities: Role Overview: You will be responsible for translating complex market and operational requirements into clear, structured deliverables for technical and product teams. Your role will involve working closely with trading, operations, product, data science, and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements in the agri-commodities sector. - Create and maintain comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional requirements. - Translate business needs into technical specifications for engineering, data, and product teams. - Apply domain knowledge of agri-commodities markets to shape product and analytics requirements. - Analyze existing systems, identify gaps, and recommend improvements. - Collaborate with QA teams to design test scenarios and validate solutions against BRDs. - Maintain up-to-date documentation for business rules, data definitions, and feature specifications. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have: - Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Agriculture/Agri-Business, Finance, or related field. - 37+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst. - Strong hands-on experience in creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD). - Solid understanding of SDLC and experience working in Agile environments. - Excellent communication skills and strong analytical mindset. - Experience using Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Domain Knowledge (Preferred): - Understanding of agri-commodities markets, pricing mechanisms, and supply chains. - Exposure to market analytics, forecasting, or trading platforms.
