In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with innovative problem-solving to plan & execute all the qualifications of cutting-edge system designs that meet the demands of advanced data centers and telecom environments.
What You’ll Do
-
Develop detailed test plans to characterize and validate systems, subassemblies or components as per industry or internal specifications by working closely with HW design (electrical, thermal, power, optics etc.)
-
Support HW bring up, and contract manufacturing NPIE with any electrical qualifications, debugging and test script support
-
Work closely with the cross-functional teams to co-ordinate test cost, schedule and address cross-functional dependencies e.g. HW allocation, SW readiness.
-
Procure test equipment and resources to complete scheduled tests in a timely manner
-
Analyze test results, find product design issues, log bugs using tracking software, report realtime status with adequate details, recommend corrective action, drive resolution and verify fixes
-
Review, edit, and release test reports for the products tested
-
Evaluate technical readiness prior to release to manufacturing
-
Learn and improve test cost, consistency, and efficiency proactively
