About the role
Job Role : EMS Engineer Experience :3-6 years Locations: Bangalore & Mohali Shifts: Rotational Working Days: 6 days a week(Work from Office) Transportation: No cab facility Notice Period: 30 Days Job Description: Good understanding of EMS (Element Management System) and NMS (Network Management System) . Understanding of SNMP protocol and how SNMP data is collected and reported to EMS. Knowledge of other methods used by EMS to collect device data, including REST APIs, MIBs, and OIDs. Experience with Linux server integration into EMS and monitoring of operating system metrics and health data. Understanding of how IPMI, iDRAC, and iLO provide server health and hardware information to EMS platforms. Experience in preparing regular and ad-hoc reports related to network, server, and EMS performance. Knowledge of network device integration into EMS, including onboarding, configuration, and monitoring validation. Ability to perform initial troubleshooting for integrated devices within EMS, including connectivity, SNMP, API, and alarm-related issues. Understanding of Data Centre operations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), processes, and infrastructure components such as servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.
