Adira Labs is being developed as a next-generation, technology-led cosmetics and personal care manufacturing facility , with a strong focus on automation, quality, sustainability, data-driven operations and engineering excellence. The facility is equipped with advanced BMS, EMS, HVAC, environmental monitoring and integrated utility systems . Role Overview We are looking for a technically strong and hands-on BMS & EMS professional to take ownership of the plant's building automation and energy management systems. The role will be responsible for monitoring, optimisation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, data analytics and continuous improvement of BMS/EMS infrastructure while ensuring compliance with GMP and EHS requirements. Key Responsibilities BMS & HVAC Own and operate the plant BMS and monitor critical parameters including AHUs, FCUs, HVAC, temperature/RH, differential pressure, HEPA systems, chilled water and utilities . Monitor alarms, trends, events and deviations and ensure timely corrective actions. Optimise HVAC schedules, set points, air changes, chilled water, pumps, fans and compressors. Ensure effective integration of BMS with HVAC and utility equipment. EMS & Energy Optimisation Manage plant-wide energy monitoring and consumption tracking. Develop energy KPIs, benchmarks and daily/weekly/monthly reports. Identify energy-saving opportunities and drive energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives . Analyse consumption trends and identify abnormal usage. Data & Digitalization Convert BMS/EMS data into actionable insights. Develop dashboards for energy, HVAC, utilities, equipment efficiency, alarms, temperature/RH and differential pressure . Support predictive maintenance and integration with other digital/plant systems. Maintenance & Reliability Develop preventive maintenance plans for BMS/EMS systems. Ensure health and reliability of sensors, PLCs, controllers, meters, actuators, communication networks and control panels . Coordinate with OEMs and system integrators for troubleshooting, upgrades and modifications. Maintain system backups and configuration records. Compliance & Projects Support commissioning, qualification, validation and revalidation activities. Ensure calibration, documentation, data integrity and audit readiness. Drive projects related to automation, energy reduction, utility optimisation, digitalisation and sustainability . Support vendor evaluation, technical specifications and system upgrades. Key KPIs BMS/EMS uptime and reliability Energy consumption and energy intensity reduction HVAC and utility efficiency Alarm and breakdown closure Preventive maintenance compliance Sensor/instrumentation reliability Energy-saving initiatives implemented Data accuracy and reporting Audit and compliance readiness Qualifications & Experience B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Automation or Mechanical Engineering with relevant BMS/HVAC experience. 5–10 years of experience in BMS, EMS, HVAC automation, utilities or facility automation. Experience in GMP manufacturing environments such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, FMCG, food or healthcare is preferred. Experience managing BMS/EMS at a manufacturing facility will be an advantage. Technical Skills Strong hands-on knowledge of: BMS | EMS | PLC/SCADA | HVAC Controls | AHU/FCU | Sensors & Instrumentation | Energy Meters | Modbus/BACnet | Alarm Management | Data Logging | Trend Analysis | Preventive Maintenance | Troubleshooting Knowledge of IoT/IIoT, cloud monitoring, dashboards, data analytics and predictive maintenance will be an added advantage. Ideal Candidate We are looking for more than a BMS operator —someone who can own the plant's digital building and energy infrastructure, interpret data, identify improvement opportunities, troubleshoot issues and drive measurable improvements in reliability, efficiency and energy performance .
