About the role

As a Talend Developer specializing in Data Integration, your role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, performing data transformations, supporting testing cycles, and ensuring smooth ETL deployments across enterprise data platforms. You should have solid experience in Talend Data Integration, SQL development, and ETL pipeline implementation. Key Responsibilities: - ETL Development - Design and develop Talend ETL/ELT pipelines to support enterprise data integration initiatives. - Implement data transformations, mappings, and validation logic. - Integrate data from multiple sources including relational databases and enterprise systems. - Ensure ETL pipelines are efficient, scalable, and maintainable. - Data Quality & Governance - Implement data quality checks and validation rules within ETL processes. - Support PII masking and compliance requirements where applicable. - Maintain proper data mapping documentation and lineage tracking. - Testing & Validation - Perform Unit Testing (UT) for Talend jobs and transformation logic. - Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and resolve data issues. - Collaborate with business teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Deployment & Environment Support - Deploy ETL jobs using Talend Administration Center (TAC). - Support environment management across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production. - Assist with release activities and production deployments. - Production Support - Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting. - Analyze data issues and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA). - Monitor ETL job performance and assist in optimization. Qualification Required: - 4 years of experience in ETL Development / Data Integration. - Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration. - Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills. - Experience working with Talend Administration Center (TAC). - Understanding of data quality frameworks and governance practices. - Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployments. In addition to the above requirements, it would be beneficial if you have experience working with large-scale data platforms and exposure to cloud data environments or modern data engineering tools.
