About the role
As a Mobile Engineer at NielsenIQ, you will be part of a dynamic team working on revamping multiple platforms within a unified global open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions using Microsoft Xamarin / MAUI / .NET SDK apps with a focus on .NET and C# programming languages. You will also be responsible for developing native iOS and Android mobile applications, understanding user needs, and contributing to the overall global solution design. Additionally, you will follow source and test-driven development best practices, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes for effective issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement technical solutions in Microsoft Xamarin / MAUI / .NET SDK apps - Develop native iOS and Android mobile applications - Understand user needs and contribute to the global solution design - Follow source and test-driven development best practices - Troubleshoot and identify root causes for issue resolution Qualifications: Must Have: - 4-6 years of experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in developing mobile Xamarin/MAUI, Native Android, and Native iOS applications - Knowledge and experience with .NET/C#, Java, Obj C, Swift, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, CSS, HTML - Solid Object-Oriented analysis and design skills using common design patterns Nice to Have: - Experience in MVC, MVVM design pattern and familiarity with MVVM frameworks like Prism, MVVM Cross, MVVM Light - Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps - Demonstrated ability to thrive in an enterprise Agile/SCRUM environment - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Excellent English communication skills - Experience with local SQLite database, threading, and Performance Tuning - Proficient in DB Schema design and SQL development - Experience in creating custom native SDK and integrating with mobile applications - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interface with cross-functional technology teams and the business - Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests Additional Company Details: NielsenIQ is the worlds leading consumer intelligence company, providing a comprehensive understanding of consumer buying behavior and insights for growth.
