We at Coforge are seeking a Backup Administrator to support IT operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environme nt Manage and administer backup and restore operations using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)/IBM Spectrum Prote ct.Monitor backup jobs and ensure successful completion as per defined schedul es.Perform backup recovery, restoration testing, and disaster recovery (DR) support activiti es.Troubleshoot and resolve backup-related incidents within defined SL As.Monitor backup infrastructure performance, storage utilization, and capacity planni ng.Ensure compliance with backup, retention, and data protection polici es.Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and storage teams for backup requiremen ts.Maintain backup reports, audit records, and operational documentati on.Support patching, upgrades, and regular health checks of the backup environme nt.Participate in 24x7 operational support and on-call activities when requir ed.Required Ski llsMinimum 5+ years of experience in Backup Administrati on.Hands-on experience with IBM TSM / IBM Spectrum Prote ct.Strong knowledge of backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery process es.Experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analys is.Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and enterprise storage syste ms.Knowledge of backup compliance, reporting, and documentation standar ds.Good communication and stakeholder management skil ls.
