About the role
Position Required: MongoDB Administrator Experience Required: 2-4 Years Location: New Delhi - Job Summary_ - Key Responsibilities:_ - Install, configure, and manage MongoDB databases on Linux-based systems. - Handle database deployments and operations on AWS cloud infrastructure. - Perform database indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning for MongoDB. - Manage replication (Replica Sets) and ensure high availability of databases. - Design and implement MongoDB sharding for scalability. - Monitor and manage MongoDB clusters using Ops Manager / monitoring tools. - Execute database backup, snapshot management, and recovery procedures. - Perform database upgrades and migrations, including NoSQL and PostgreSQL-related environments. - Write and maintain shell scripts for automation of database tasks. - Manage database security, user roles, and access control. - Troubleshoot database issues, performance bottlenecks, and outages. - Maintain documentation for database architecture, processes, and procedures. - Required Skills:_ - Strong experience in MongoDB Administration. - Hands-on experience with MongoDB commands, indexing, and query optimization. - Experience in replication and sharding concepts. - Valuable knowledge of Linux (system administration & server management). - Experience working with AWS services (EC2, EBS, backups, snapshots). - Familiarity with PostgreSQL and database upgrade processes. - Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash) for automation. - Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster management. - Understanding of NoSQL database concepts and architecture. - Qualification:_ UG: B. Tech/B.E. in Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Related field PG:MTech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, MCA, MS/M.Scs.
