Role & responsibilities Lead the system architecture and design activities for CBTC and ATS signalling systems. Review, validate, modify, and approve signalling design deliverables including schematics, interlocking data tables, application logic, and trackside equipment layouts. Ensure compliance with SIL-4 safety requirements, Indian Railway standards, and international CENELEC railway standards. Coordinate with Rolling Stock, Telecom, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Track, SCADA, and other engineering teams to resolve interface issues. Provide technical leadership during design reviews, testing, commissioning, and project execution activities. Guide and mentor signalling design engineers while managing engineering workflows, quality, and project deliverables. Support technical discussions with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Preferred candidate profile Experience in Metro Rail, Urban Transit,. Knowledge of railway safety lifecycle and RAMS processes. IRSE certification or relevant railway signalling certification will be an added advantage.
