DevOps Engineer - AWS Expert

As a DevOps Engineer (AWS Expert) at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for modern, AI-powered applications. Your expertise in AWS, CI/CD, containerization, and platform engineering will be essential in accelerating development using AI-assisted tools and spec-driven engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: - Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure (AWS) - Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS. - Work with core AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, Load Balancers, and API Gateway to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. - Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost. - CI/CD & Automation - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate build, test, and deployment workflows. - Integrate AI-assisted development workflows into CI/CD for faster and reliable releases. - Enable end-to-end automation with minimal manual intervention. - Containerization & Orchestration - Build and manage containerized applications using Docker. - Work with orchestration tools like ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes for efficient resource utilization and scaling. - Platform Engineering & Developer Experience - Build internal platforms and reusable infrastructure components. - Support teams working with .NET, React, and AI-based systems. - Improve developer productivity through automation and tooling. - Monitoring, Reliability & Security - Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems. - Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance. - Implement security best practices for IAM, encryption, and compliance. - AI-Assisted & Spec-Driven DevOps - Leverage tools like Claude and Cursor AI for infrastructure automation and troubleshooting. - Work with spec-driven approaches for infrastructure provisioning. - Support deployment and scaling of AI/LLM-based applications. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering. - Strong expertise in the AWS cloud platform. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, and containerization. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code and a strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools. - Experience working in microservices-based architectures.
