As an Information & Security Engineer at NK Securities Research, you will play a crucial role in securing internal systems, managing VDI environments, enforcing DLP controls, monitoring network traffic, maintaining centralized security logging, and supporting cyber attack simulation drills. Your responsibilities will include: - Securing internal systems and managing VDI environments - Enforcing DLP controls and monitoring network traffic - Maintaining centralized security logging - Supporting periodic cyber attack simulation drills To excel in this role, you should possess strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, scripting, and cybersecurity. Additionally, familiarity with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, and CIS Benchmarks will be beneficial. Your technical skills should include: - Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals - Familiarity with proxy servers and web filtering/logging tools - Exposure to network monitoring and packet analysis tools - Basic to intermediate scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages - Understanding of DLP concepts, endpoint security, and data classification - Working knowledge of security frameworks and SIEM platforms As part of your responsibilities, you will: Network Security & Proxy Management - Manage corporate proxy servers and firewall rules - Ensure comprehensive packet-level logging of all network traffic - Set up dashboards and alerts for suspicious traffic SOC Portal & Centralized Logging - Develop and maintain the internal SOC portal for log monitoring - Monitor critical systems for unauthorized access and abnormal activity VDI Management & Data Loss Prevention - Manage and secure VDI environments - Enforce DLP controls and improve VDI configurations Security Operations - Assist in vulnerability assessments and incident response - Identify risks from installed services and internal applications Security Frameworks & Audit Readiness - Apply best practices from security frameworks - Support phishing simulations and incident response exercises Qualifications: - B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication - M.Tech. or relevant postgraduate certification is a plus - 0-5 years of relevant work experience Join us at NK Securities Research to enjoy a competitive salary package, dynamic work environment, career growth opportunities, catered meals, international trips, and team dinners.
