About the role
Job Overview: Responsible for supervising and executing erection, installation, and commissioning of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) systems at project sites. Ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and as per technical and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Execute GIS erection and commissioning activities as per drawings and specifications. Supervise installation of GIS panels, bus ducts, and associated equipment. Coordinate with project, civil, and electrical teams for smooth progress. Conduct testing, inspection, and troubleshooting during installation. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Prepare site reports and support documentation for project handover. Skills Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering. 25 years of experience in GIS erection and commissioning. Knowledge of high-voltage systems, safety standards, and testing procedures. Strong technical, coordination, and communication skills.
