About the role
Key Responsibilities: - AWS Infrastructure Design: - Architect and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure AWS environments. - Design and manage networking, security, storage, and compute services on AWS. - Cloud Operations: - Manage and monitor AWS environments, ensuring high availability and performance. - Automate infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible. - Security and Compliance: - Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM, VPC, security groups, and encryption. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Cost Optimization: - Analyze and optimize AWS usage to reduce costs while maintaining performance. - Implement cost-effective strategies using AWS cost management tools. - Collaboration: - Provide guidance and training to team members on AWS best practices. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC. - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Solid understanding of networking, security, and DevOps practices.
