Architectural Assistant

In this full-time, on-site Architectural Assistant role at Noah Infrastructure in Chennai, you will support the design and execution of interior and infrastructure projects. Working under the guidance of senior architects and project leads, you will assist in preparing and updating technical and architectural drawings, plans, and layouts. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with internal teams to translate project requirements into clear drawings, creating basic design presentations, and supporting documentation for client reviews and approvals. You will also participate in site visits to understand existing conditions, verify measurements, and align drawings with on-site realities. Additionally, you will help organize project files, maintain drawing standards, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the design and documentation process. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing and updating technical and architectural drawings, plans, and layouts. - Coordinate with internal teams to translate project requirements into clear drawings. - Create basic design presentations and support documentation for client reviews and approvals. - Participate in site visits to understand existing conditions and verify measurements. - Help organize project files, maintain drawing standards, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the design and documentation process. Qualifications: - Strong foundation in Architecture with an understanding of interior and civil project workflows. - Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Architectural Drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations. - Ability to create clear, visually organized Presentations for internal reviews and client meetings. - Effective Communication skills for coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. - Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field preferred. - Familiarity with CAD or other architectural design software and basic knowledge of building materials and finishes. - Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Willingness to work on-site, conduct site measurements, and adapt to project needs in a fast-paced environment.
