As a ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, and Asset Management Specialist, your role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow capabilities across various areas such as IT Operations Management, Service Availability, CMDB/CSDM, and Hardware Asset Management. Your primary responsibilities include: - Configuring and maintaining ServiceNow ITOM and Service Availability modules - Developing and supporting availability calculation logic using scripts and service health models - Ensuring accurate service health reporting and operational visibility - Designing, implementing, and maintaining CMDB aligned with CSDM best practices - Building and managing reconciliation rules and data normalization strategies for CMDB - Configuring Hardware Asset Management (HAM) workflows and lifecycle processes - Synchronizing asset lifecycle states across integrated systems - Developing REST-based integrations to import and synchronize data from external systems - Supporting ITSM processes including Incident, Change, and Request Management To be successful in this role, you should have: - Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, HAM, and ITSM - Hands-on experience developing REST integrations and data imports - Proficiency in Transform Maps and reconciliation rules - Scripting experience for availability calculations and platform logic - Solid understanding of asset lifecycle management and automation Preferred qualifications include: - ServiceNow certifications (CSA, ITOM, HAM, or SAM) - Experience in large enterprise or multi-source CMDB environments - Knowledge of discovery, service mapping, or event management This position offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on the reliability of IT services and informed decision-making within the organization.
