About the role
2-3 years of hands-on experience in 5G NR/LTE PHY Layer development, demonstrating a strong understanding of OFDM, MIMO, and other key PHY concepts. Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, and Python for algorithm development and simulation, ensuring efficient and reliable code implementation. Experience with DSPs, FPGAs, or GPUs for real-time PHY processing, optimizing signal processing and system performance. Solid knowledge of 3GPP specifications, particularly 38.211, 38.212, 38.213, and 38.214, ensuring compliance and effective implementation. Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) and real-time embedded systems, enabling efficient development and testing. Experience in debugging and performance tuning of PHY layer implementations, ensuring robust and optimized system performance. Knowledge of signal processing libraries like FFTW is preferred, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of signal processing tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation. Experience in 5G PHY testing and validation using industry-leading tools is an advantage, ensuring accurate and reliable testing. A B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
